Electromed, Inc. , the designer and manufacturer of the SmartVest® Airway Clearance System Trimline™ Model, provides it's customers with the following warranties:

  • "Manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty" unconditionally warrants the SmartVest® Airway Clearance System to operate properly for the lifetime of the person to whom the system is prescribed.

    This LIFETIME warranty applies only to systems initially purchased and currently located in the United States of America. It commences on the date of acquisition, applies exclusively to the original purchaser, and is not transferable. This warranty is the purchaser's sole remedy for resolving a complaint if the unit fails. This warranty covers any cost of parts and labor needed to repair the air pulse generator, the vest, the power cord, and/or the flexible connecting hose. Electromed will repair or replace, at its discretion and at its designated repair facility, any parts found to be in need of replacement or repair during the warranty period.

  • "Technology Advancement Warranty" to ensure that patients benefit from any new system innovations introduced within the first three years of their SmartVest® Airway Clearance System delivery date.

    The Technology Advancement Warranty provides an economical means for current SmartVest® Airway Clearance System patients to benefit from product innovations. This Warranty is available to every patient who has purchased a SmartVest® Airway Clearance System through year 2006. The Technology Advancement Warranty allows patients who have purchased a unit from Electromed, Inc. to one time exchange their current technology system for an upgraded unit when they (i) return their current system, and (ii) accept billing of $1,000.00 (USD) plus shipping costs. Taking into account the demand for new technology systems, such exchange will be effected within one year of the date of the request. This offer is subject to successful registration of any new model in the receiving country.

  1. Upon insurance approval and delivery of a SmartVest® Airway Clearance System, the patient will receive an enrollment card.
  2. The patient simply fills out the card, makes their selection, and sends it to SourceCF
  3. SourceCF will do the rest. All shipping and handling charges are included in the program; there is no out-of-pocket cost to the patient.

Due to federal regulations, Medicaid and Medicare patients are not eligible for the Source Points program.
